MARYLINN-ONLY MINE (SOLO MIO) (RR 003)

Just want to inform you about the new samples of the third new Flashback production (on Rebirth label). You can listen to new tracks on Flashback Myspace: “Marylinn - Only Mine (Solo Mio)” which has very typical 83-84 Italo style and sound (Korg Poly-800) and another track from this new female artist; “Let Me Stay”, a track with sentimental and peaceful athmosphere mixed with very beautiful melody and arrangements. I hope you will enjoy all the new releases which should all be available next week.

MARC FRUTTERO-DISCO SILVIA (FLA 3006) & ANDY ROMANO-TOMORROW YOU DON’T KNOW (RR 004)

The next Flashback vinyls are in pressing and should be ready and available within two-three weeks.

This time there will be one release on Flashback but also on Flashback sub-label, Rebirth Records. FLA 3006 will be long-waited “Marc Fruttero - Disco Silvia b/w Nineteen Eighties Songs”. The 12″ contain two different versions of “Disco Silvia”; Extended Mix (without fade-in start) and Original Mix. The vinyl will also include another track called “Nineteen Eighties Songs” which is written by Riccardo Campa. You can listen to the both tracks at: www.myspace.com/flashbackrecord

Soon there will be also new Andy Romano tracks presented on Flashback Myspace. RR 004 “Andy Romano - Tomorrow You Don’t Know b/w Lady Of Fire” has two brand new tracks from Andy. The A-side track is very old sounding Italo track with impressive synths and beautiful vocals. “Lady Of Fire” on the B-side is a mixture of Italo and US hi-nrg ala Bobby O.

LONG-WAITED “ANDY ROMANO - RUN TO LOVE (RR 002)” SOON AVAILABLE!

“Run to Love” has already been a dance-floor bomb in Mexico and soon it will be played there also from vinyl. The track has a lot of energy and can be considered to be a mixture of 80s Italo and US hi-nrg. On the B-side, “Stay with You” is more classic Italo sound; a perfect track for “summer nights on a highway” with all the typical mid-80s Italo-disco elements.

TWO NEW VINYLS RELEASED!

The new Flashback release (FLA 3009) is the second 12″ of Riccardo Campa: Desperado b/w Casanova. The first track is already heard on “Presence of the Past vol. 2″, but now it is available also on the “right” form as vinyl (the instrumental version included). Both tracks are old ones from Riccardo’s archives, but have been now re-arranged based on the old demos.

The other vinyl released with Riccardo Campa 12″ is on a new sub-label of Flashback; Rebirth Records. This label has been created for “the new generation Italo artists” and it will have some basic differences compared to Flashback releases, but the sound will always be pure 80s Italo all the way.

The first Rebirth Records release is called “Dario - All the Night” (RR 001). The track is composed and arranged by Dyva and sound engineered and mixed by the legendary Laurent Gelmetti who is basicly “the father” of Time Records sound. The track has a strong “Time Records athmosphere” mixed with emotional vocals of milanese singer, Dario.

NEW ITALO YEAR HAS STARTED WITH A NEW CD RELEASE

It’s our pleasure to inform you about the new Flashback cd release. On New Years Day, the long waited Flashback cd compilation, “Presence of the Past Vol. 2″ was released in Poland, during the Italo Maraton organized by Klub80.pl.

The album contains 10 tracks (extended versions) from artists like Fred Ventura, Tiziana Rivale, Felli, Riccardo Campa and Dyva. Most of the tracks can be found from previously released Flashback vinyls, but some tracks can be heard on this album for the first time. Every track won’t be released on vinyl, at least on this form as they appear on this cd. So, the album has something special for vinyl freaks as well.

Happy New Year to all our friends! Let’s make the year 2009 to be even better Italo year as the last year was!

NEW TIZIANA RIVALE AND PETER ARCADE AVAILABLE

Today we have received the new vinyls from the pressing. The fastest buyers probably are able to get them still before Christmas.

Tiziana Rivale is back in recording, after a long silence. We are very proud to publish the first Flashback release sung by a female voice and what would be nicer way to do it as doing it with lovely Tiziana, whose beautiful voice is familiar to Italo Disco fans from many recordings from the 80s. Tiziana has lent her voice for example to some Camomilla and Vivien Vee tracks. The new Tiziana Rivale 12″ (FLA 4000) contains two different tracks; “Ash” and “Flame”, both arranged with the legendary style of Luigi Piergiovanni. We’re finally able to listen to the magical sound of “Camomilla” after so many years!

The second new Flashback release, “Peter Arcade - Italo Disco b/w The Fairytale (FLA 3010)”, is a tribute to Italo Disco music and Italo fans: “Italo Disco has been a magical, musical dream, made of feelings and played by the souls of romantic and ageless teenagers that believed, forever, in eternal love.” From this 12″ you can find two beautiful tracks which are taking you back in time to the year 1984. The vinyl is frosted with a unique “fan sleeve”. Check it out!

FLA 4002 is a “long-waited” new Dyva: “My Love” b/w “If You’re Feeling Blue”… and another great 12″ will follow; “FLA 4001 Fred Ventura & Andy Romano - I Want You Back b/w Open Your Eyes Remix”. “I Want You Back” will lead you back to the 1985 athmosphere with incredible vocals of Fred. “Open Your Eyes” was released earlier this year on Flashback sub-label (Disco Evolution) and now you can enjoy this Remix, strongly influenced by the legendary Time Records sound.

MARC FRUTTERO CD ALBUM READY AND AVAILABLE!

The new cd album of Marc Fruttero (FLACD 003) includes material that has been released on vinyl earlier, but also six new tracks. The album begins with a track which has had a lot of attention lately, “Disco Silvia”, from which the long versions will be released later on vinyl. Among the new tracks there are also two remixes from Dyva tracks “Memories” and “Please My Love”, both re-arranged by Dyva. “Tell Me Now” and “Divertissement” are old tracks from the 80s and “Moments of Surprise” is composed and arranged by Joey Mauro.

We hope you will enjoy the moments in a “Fairyland” with Marc.

FLASHBACK RECORDS IS BACK!

After a long silence Flashback Records is back with two new vinyl releases: “FLA 4004 Bruno Mosti - Music of My Star” and “FLA 4003 Riccardo Campa - Another Day”.

The new Bruno Mosti release has two tracks taken directly from the old tapes. The a-side track “Music of My Star” has great vocals of Bruno with a female voice which belong to “Marylin Love”. B-side track “I Wanna Keep On Dreaming” is a perfect summer track with light and happy feeling. Both tracks were recorded in 1984.

Riccardo Campa is a new Flashback artist from who we will surely hear more in the near future. Riccardo has made a lot of Italo tracks in the 80s, but none of them has been released until now. This 12″ has two main tracks; “Another Day” has grooving athmosphere with strong and simple arrangements and with a very catchy refrain. “Madness” is more melancolic with all the beautiful sequencer and string sounds. This record and this artist is for sure worth of acquaintance.

Beside these two vinyl releases, Flashback will be back also with a new cd album of Marc Fruttero. According the information given by the cd pressing company, the new cd (FLACD 003) will be ready in the end of July.

NEW FELLI AND FABIAN NESTI RELEASES READY!

Flashback brings you back in the 80s with two 12″ releases.

Felli tracks “Music Man” and “Pretty Girl” were composed in the same era with “Diamond in the Night” and “Shadows of the Night”. It took almost 25 years for these great tracks to be officially published. Both tracks are re-arranged by master himself, Adriano Caglioni, based on the original demo versions. On the b-side you can also find a “Wizard Mix” which has exactly the same sounds as the demo version of “Music Man” made in 1983. With this release you can find the “Discomagic feeling” from the labels’ early days.

In the same time with new Felli release, Flashback will introduce you the wellknown name from the middle-80s; Fabian Nesti. This release will include two different tracks, both originally made in the past. The main track “Tell Me” has the magical arrangements of Mauro Nacci which are bringing back the memories of the Cruisin’ Records hit “Heigh Ho”. On the b-side you can find another beautiful track called “A Brand New Day”.

PETER ARCADE CD ALBUM SOON AVAILABLE!

Long-expected CD album of Peter Arcade will be ready during the week 37. The album is called “Reflections” (DECD 001) and it will contain two cds; “Flashback CD” with 80s Italo versions and “Evolution CD” with contemporary dance versions of the tracks. The cd will be the first release of Flashback Records sub-label called “Disco Evolution”.

We will post more detailed information soon on “Flashback CD” section. Be ready for the melodic dance cd of the year.

GEORGE AARON SOON ON FLASHBACK!

We proudly present one of the biggest Italo legends soon on Flashback Records; George Aaron with his new 12″ called “Heaven” (FLA 4007). The composer team (G. Aldighieri-M. Percali) is wellknown from their earlier work for Fly Music and now they are back on Flashback.

Together with the new George Aaron, Flashback Records will release another “diamond”: a new Dyva 12″ “Stay With Me Tonight” (FLA 4008). On the b-side of extended “Stay With Me Tonight” you are now able to listen to unreleased extended version of Dyva masterpiece; “I Know” …and we can assure you that - it is FANTASTIC!

FIRST FLASHBACK RELEASES OF 2007 SOON READY!

This Flashback-year will start with two different 12″ releases, both creations of Adriano Caglioni. “Shadows of the Night” (FLA 4010) will continue from where Felli ended in the 80s with his great Discomagic tracks “Diamond in the Night” and “Greatest Mind”.

“Come, Come Together” (FLA 4009) is composed by Caglioni with his good friend Gianni Mocchetti, who is better known as Riky Maltese in the Italo scene. “Come, Come Together” has the same athmosphere and catchy melody as the 80s masterpieces like “Mama”, “Warrior” and “To be or not to be” composed by this same “team”.

MAGICAL PETER ARCADE/LAZARUS 12″SOON AVAILABLE

We have a pleasure to announce that the next Flashback Records vinyl release is ready from the pressing. The 12″will be available within two weeks.

This new 12″(FLA 5002) will contain two tracks composed by GAZEBO; “Lazarus - Wait (rmx)”/”Peter Arcade - Rainfall Memories (rmx)”. Both tracks were presented live in “I Venti D’azzurro anniversary party” in Mantova on last May. You can find more information and sound samples from the “Discography” section of Flashback Records web-pages.

This vinyl is a very limited edition. We hope you can find the “magical” 80s Italo feeling by listening to this production.

The record contains extended version of “Please My Love” (8.32), extended version of “Memories” (8.31) and instrumental version of “Please My Love” (8.28). DYVA COMPETITION

We’re happy to announce that among some upcoming 12″ releases (on this summer), Flashback Records is releasing the second cd, at latest on autumn. The cd will be an album of Dyva.

Concerning this album, we want to open a competition:

THE FIRST FLASHBACK COMPILATION CD OFFICIALLY RELEASED!

The first Flashback cd compilation was released on 6th of May in Mantova.

The cd contains 10 tracks from eight different artists. Some of the tracks have been released earlier on Flashback vinyls, but some of them are new unreleased tracks (for example LAZARUS - WAIT RMX, O’RYAN - EVERYDAY MAN, DYVA - MEMORIES). All tracks are taken directly from the masters and the cd is professionally pressed.

You can find soon the cd also from our “Discography” section. As also the other new Flashback release; 12″ Karl Otto & Joey Mauro - Electric Love b/w Broken Emotions (FLA 5003).

NEW FLASHBACK 12″ AND THE FIRST CD COMPILATION WILL BE RELEASED SOON!

The next Flashback 12″ will be released in Mantova at “I Venti-parties” on 6th of May:
KARL OTTO & JOEY MAURO - ELECTRIC LOVE b/w BROKEN EMOTIONS (FLA 5003)

“Electric Love” sounds like early Discomagic productions; old sounding (Linn drum, Minimoog etc.), a bit clumsy… with unique style of vocals by Roberto Carlotto. The record will contain extended and instrumental versions of “Electric Love” and extended version of “Broken Emotions”. All tracks arranged by Joey Mauro and sung by Roberto Carlotto.

We will also keep our fingers crossed that the first cd compilation of Flashback Records will be ready in time and it will also be released at the parties in Mantova. The cd will contain 10 different tracks (long versions) from eight different artists. Four from the tracks are released earlier on Flashback vinyls and five of them are unreleased material.

You can also find a new track of DYVA (”Please My Love”) from the new compilation of S.A.I.F.A.M. group. Extended version of this track will be released later on vinyl.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… FLASHBACK RECORDS PRESENTS:

The new DYVA 12″ will be out very soon… and we will be ON FIRE!

The upcoming release will follow the style of earlier Dyva-productions; heavy beat with strong synths. “On Fire” is composed by R. Calzolari and M. Traversoni and was originally recorded in 1985, but the tracks wasn’t ever finished… until now.

The record will contain three different versions of “On Fire”; on the a-side “Caldo Mix” with 98bpm and on the b-side “Instrumental” with another great version “Fuoco Mix” with 105bpm. All the tracks are arranged by Savino Deejay and sung by Dyva.

MARC FRUTTERO - IF YOU’RE FEELING BLUE / DARKNESS (FLA 5006)

IF YOU’RE FEELING BLUE is from the “old songs” archives of Dyva. It’s composed by R. Calzolari & M. Traversoni, but was never released in the past. The song is re-arranged by Elio Messina and sung by Marc Fruttero. Based on a style of arrangements it could be categorized as “classic old italo”-track.

The record will contain two different versions of “If You’re Feeling Blue”; “extended version” with original sounds of Elio Messina and “another version” with partly different sounds created by R. Calzolari, K. Rapatti & King-O.

On the b-side there will be also the unreleased original version of DARKNESS (M. Fruttero with Aquarius). This version (Turin mix) is the first version from this song and it was recorded at legendary Minirec Studio in 1984.
